The Top Reason Why Girls Need Fathers

In an age where dads seem to be either replaceable or not necessary, we seem to forget that paternal role models are vital for children. A dad is a necessary part of a boy becoming a competent adult. These same fathers are equally necessary in the transformation of a girl growing into a mature and trustworthy woman.

The final, last, and most necessary reason a father has in the life of a growing gal is to be the measuring gauge in which all other men that she meets will be assessed. This may not seem fair to an unsure dad or a nervous man that is attempting to become an element of a girl's life through dating her mother, teaching her, or becoming her friend but it has always been this way. A girl's dad or dad figure is the benchmark by which all other men will be gauged. She will eventually want a partner that she feels measures up to her father. She will insist her male friends to be as considerate as her father. If her dad abuses or controls her mother, his mate], or herself she will expect males in her life to abuse and manipulate her as she grows. A young girl's father is the standard that she will search for in new men that she allows to be a part of her world during her youth and adult life. This, alone, should be purpose enough to keep responsible fathers interested and get admirable men to be involved in striking up a relationship with any females that could use a father figure or even a male role model.

Having no male mentor is alike to having a negative male mentor. A girl with no men to help guide her has a much higher risk of unprotected intercourse, pregnancy, drug use, and dropping out of school among many other things. No girl should be bereft of the opportunity to have a bond with her single dad pending he is competent and mature.
