If you are not currently taking advantage of your email signature, then you really are overlooking another element to your marketing. In fact, you will have a much more professional impact if you are in business and have a proper signature. As with everything else, you can write one that works well or one that creates a poor impression. It does not take a lot of effort to understand what makes for a more meaningful email signature. You may have a lot of different ways to contact you, but you never want to include all of them. The contact preference that you include should be direct and targeted. When people see that you are being a bit generous, then they will respond in kind and it will all be good. There is nothing wrong with email, though, and it can all stay that way if you want.
When you are building out your email signature, the one thing above all that you want to have in there is the standard email address. If your email is something that you expect to be forwarded, then this point is critical because a lot of people think using your email address in the signature doesn't make sense when it perfectly does. There is no one standard formula for what should be in the email signature, and that is where some people may get confused. Try to be gracious and polite and just let them either phone or write to you, as they wish.
