How to Get Listeners to Click the Liked Button on Your Podcast.

If you have always wanted to make a professional podcast, but weren't sure where to start, the following article will point you in the right direction.

Small Segments: Keeping your listeners interested rather than having them feel bored with your podcast is path to success. A good way to do this is to create segments that are short and diverse, while you put some kind of an audio 'bumper' between each of your segments. It doesn't matter what this is, it could be music, a different sound effect or something that is just your own whimsical trick. By creating blocks with bumpers in between will make your podcast more fun and easier to follow. Anything that is too long and arduous will make the listeners bored. If you segment your podcast, you will not only give your listeners something of value, but the segmenting will enhance the value as well. Refrain From Bragging: The very last thing you want to do in your podcast is brag about who you are and what makes you so wonderful. You may find you need to make a small introduction, but talking on and on about yourself won't make your readers happy. One thing to always be thinking about is that the reason people are listening to your podcast is because they want to get something of value from it. It should be more about 'them' than about 'you'. Don't keep telling your listeners over and over how you are the expert in your niche or how you can save the economy from tanking. If you're good - it will show. Period.

Using Music For Enhancement: Using music in your podcast in the right way can help soften the whole experience. You need to think what will enhance your podcast however, rather than just throwing in your favorite mp3 track. You can make the podcast seem more professional and add quality to it if you add in some light soothing music. In a way, when you use good music for your background, intro, etc, you polish up your podcast and make it sound better and give your readers an experience that they will remember, not just because of the quality of the content of the podcast, but also because of the way you presented it.

If you are a newcomer to podcasting, it can take some time before you seeing quality results, but once you begin to do it regularly, you will understand that you will need to make a commitment to offer quality content consistently to be able to succeed. There is absolutely no doubt however that if you focus on improving the quality of your podcast and get it right that you will derive massive exposure and build a strong relationship with your target audience.
